History Pit Stop 5: Down Under 710



I know little about this car, other than the fact that it competed in Australian rallying in the mid to late 70's. I apologize for scan quality.






1941 CC twin cam engine, running 10.5:1 compression, producing 200 BHP at 7200 RPM. Top speed 180 km/h in this car.


1889cc L series SOHC engine, running 10.5:1 compression, producing 170 BHP at 6800 rpm. Top speed 170 km/h.


The water crossing pic is taken in the 76 or 77 Canberra rally. There were 3 of these 710's in that event.
